About this puzzle

Meet the artist

With bold colours and retro 1970s-style art, WAVES was designed by US artist Rachel Breeden of Circa 78 Designs. Breeden freely admits that her designs are influenced by the likes of Sesame Street and other 1970s’ children’s TV programmes – so if the Cookie Monster is your spirit animal, you’ll love the primary shades and fun vibe of this colourful puzzle. The finished WAVES jigsaw looks so swell that we reckon you'll want to keep it as a work of art.

Ein tolles Puzzle, dass viel Spaß gemacht hat. Die Farben waren sehr gut zu erkennen, nur bei den Pastelltönen wurde es etwas knifflig. Insgesamt sind die Teile Recht gut verarbeitet nur manchmal franzen sie leicht aus bzw. sind wirklich schwer zuzuordnen. Ich hatte viele Teile die exakt so aussahen als würden sie passen und später musste ich doch wieder umbauen. Aber irgendwie hat auch das etwas Spaß gemacht :)

This is a great intro to gradient puzzles design! I love gradients in general, and was able to complete this fairly quickly. The sorting, and assembling in sections is very satisfying. The pieces fit nicely and the finished puzzle is so beautiful.

This was my first gradient puzzle; I liked it so much I have a couple more now! For a more challenging gradient build the second time, I like to divide the pieces into ten piles of randomly selected pieces, then try to fit as many as I can from each pile before going on to the next one (as seen on Karen Puzzles). Very satisfying 🙂

The usual good quality from Cloudberries. Easy to do but still satisfying being able to consistently place pieces. Also looks nicer in person than the pictures of the box.
